DS: I wanted to write a very well thought out piece on what is happening to this beloved country of mine, but alas, I worked today! No time...
Just wanted a quick mention that the Catholic church is under persecution in this country, as she has always been and always will be, for Jesus said so Himself, "the servant is not greater than the Master."
Tonite was the last nite of "Fortnight for Freedom," a time of intense prayer called by our bishops as a response to our government forcing us to go against our beliefs, our values, our morality. The government is forcing us to cover contraception/abortion with obama's version of "healthcare." It certainly was a surprising ruling of the Supreme Court last thursday, stating that obamacare was in fact, constitutional as a tax! Something so ludicrous, it makes you wonder where we are all going to wind up! Things aren't looking too good for us freedom-fighters...
I believe that the Fortnight comes to a close today, but it doesn't mean for us to stop praying!
Just remember, folks, our country's freedom has ALWAYS included Religious freedom! When a government goes after a particular religion, that bodes no good for anyone, regardless of their beliefs... or unbeliefs...
